A note from Lauren: My grandmother had the most beautiful fish pendant that I was enamoured with from the time I was a little girl. She wore it to birthdays, baptisms, our weekly, but sacred, Sunday night dinner, and everything in between. She used to tell me how the market she bought it from also had a matching set of earrings and how much she wished she had bought them to make a set. It was quintessentially her.
